Hi, I'm Lee Cobb and I'm the developer behind Construct Games.
I started off as a hobbyist map maker in 2004 which started my journey towards becoming a games developer introducing me to many of the skills needed such as 3d modelling, texturing and map design.
With time I decided to take up development as a career choice and went to university to network with new people and fill in some of the gaps left from self-teaching and that's when I decided to start Construct Games.
Throughout my life, I have had an idea, that if you aim high in all that you do, even if you miss, you will still land higher than if you had never aimed at all and with each fall you can learn lessons to allow yourself to achieve better heights next time, it's what drives my work, the idea that each project is a stepping stone to creating something even better next time.
As a result, my work has been covered by sites such as 80lv and one of my packs was recently added to the Epic Games Permanent Collection which is now available for free on the Unreal Marketplace.

Collaborate with and advise clients on the creation of bespoke solutions built in unreal engine covering topics such as technical art, programming, environment design and particle systems

Worked in tandem with other engineers and artists to create scenarios trainees might experience in a variety of industrial settings such as laboratories.
Deployed projects in both standalone Windows environment and deployed on Android on the Oculus Quest.
Primarily focused on Blueprint systems and assisted VFX with materials and particle systems.

Develop various interactive systems for use in an immersive experience to change world aspects such as Time of Day manager which interacts with the lighting and sky, triggering sequence events and design Niagara visual effects.
I also created several material systems for things such as UI world markers for distance fading and a master material to cover specific material types used throughout the project.
